Nothing But a Dream

Knock. Knock. “Who are you?” She was actively listening, using all her senses. “ Don’t you recognize me? Don’t you really?” “No, I Don’t.” She was impatient. “ I am the soul in you. Your dream. Your positivity.” “I don’t need you. Could you please, leave? And shut the door behind you, I need to sleep.” Knock. Knock. “Who are you?” She was blurry now, could not see, properly. “Could you open your eyes, please? I am a friend. The thought of your pure mind. Your faithfulness. Loyalty.” “I don’t need you, either. Could you please, leave? And shut the door behind you, I need to sleep.” knock. Knock. “Who are you?” She was really angry now. “I am the examiner. I am afraid the time is up. Please submit your test. Are you listening ?” She felt she could not breathe! She woke up, sweating and shaking! “God, I am thankful to you.” She whispered. “It is nothing but a dream!”
