Not Writing Today

Our words today are disjointed, banal, bland, maybe nonexistent. No emotions attached, for words are not even peeking out of crevices. My muse is apathetic, emotionless, uninterested, uncommunicable. I sense a nonproductive day, or at least a nonproductive hour or two. Nothing is written, and I feel okay about it.

It usually does, sometimes I have to write an abcedarian poem to get it to flow again.

Tell Trixie I waited all day for the latest and had about given up. Here it is 11:18pm. Oh well...sometimes I feel like a nut; other times not so much. I've been going through as low spell. Hard to think when you have a hacking cough!

This is the deal - I have been to Omaha Nebraska and back in one day - a three.five hour drive each direction, and I attended a first communion of my granddaughter Daisy, so there was no way I could post poems until I returned at 9:30 last night. I left at 7:00 a.m.
