Not So Straight

Met this girl and shes
Super cool,
But I’m straight.
And she doesn’t remember my name.
Which is cool
Because I’m straight.

Shes got eyes that radiate
That shine when she smiles.
And I’m straight.
Her laugh makes me want
To tell a joke just to hear it
Again. I’m straight.

When she hugs me the only
Thing that I can think is
How great she smells.
I’m straight.
She says I look cool and I
Have a stupid grin for days.
I swear I’m straight.

Except shes stuck in my head
And it becomes a place I live.
Thoughts of her
Are the only ones I have.
I look forward to when
I will see her next.
And I start dreaming with
Her name on my lips.

I guess I’m not as
Straight as I said.

There is nothing wrong with seeing good qualities in a person of the same sex and it doesn't mean that one is not straight..Enjoyed reading your work..Sara
