Not So Far
Icy currents wrap around
drifting
broken pieces
of she
emptied into terrible
unfathomed seas
drowning
alone ~
yet knowing
a curiously
warm current
comes
whispering heartsongs
surrounding curled toes
quivering lip
sanguine eyes
with
humid breath
healing
binding
promises
. . . . . of tended wounds
upon trusted touch
tender
hope roots deeply
in your pocket
carried close within
on blue oceans
not. so. far.
