Not Ready For Sunday

Where neither foot has ever walked
Nor human voice has ever talked
There tread I with silent steps
And speak in whispers to the depths
Way down deep where sapphires form
Down still more where emeralds are born
To finally where in ruby mist
Encircled by veils of amethyst
A single beam of light breaks dawn
And on your name there I do fawn
For rising up out of my heart
Are songs of love in gems of art
