Listen to poem:
Not No, but not Now
Midlife storm unspools
urgency tears at the seams
burnout looms heavy—
the answer is not to stop
but to pause, to wait a while
At red lights I breathe
blue sky outshines the phone's glow
decisions can wait
till I drink my tea in peace
calling quietude a win
Time widens within
less pressure, less urgency
a softer wisdom
the truest grace is to say—
Yes, and not No, but not Now
