Notes About The Poem

Not Mine But Thine

Ego hesitates, whilst heart flows Where then, is consciousness fulcrum Love a burning yearning that grows Devoid of fear residuum Free will shapes today and morrow Ego hesitates, whilst heart flows What do we choose; pain or sorrow Be mindful of seeds, our heart sows See in stillness, how our soul glows Why then do we not stand erect Ego hesitates, whilst heart flows There remain no debts to collect Thought rested silence holds the key We follow conscience, since love knows Shift simple, is from ‘I’ to ‘we’ Ego hesitates, whilst heart flows 23-September-2021

The depth of your quatern is moving and I'm impacted with the rising of its words! Nicely done, US, Aloha!
