Not Mine

Not mine

The earthly riches I possess now,
Is and yet is not mine
Which could vanish at any time
Perhaps grow wings and take off to the skies
Like an eagle
Killing my pride and ego
Here is wisdom,
To put first the heavenly kingdom

The mortal body I dress and embrace now
Is and yet is not mine
Which could vanish at any time
Back to dusk, no more to the eyes
Forgotten to the people
Where’s my pride and ego?
Here is wisdom
Put first the heavenly kingdom.

This life I live now
Is and yet is not mine
Which could vanish at any time
As a flower and the grass dries
Once existed, now gone
Where’s my pride and ego?
Here is wisdom
To put first the heavenly kingdom
