Not In Existence

Something twisted deep inside with all the hate you cannot hide.
Hate you declare to be love because what you see is what you want to see not what you should.

You thought that you could play me to expose your truth. So, I played that game on you.

It’s sad now to look back. All the years we stayed separate. Because you could not understand that you were wrong about this man. Wrong on all the counts you had.

I feel no sympathy for walking away. You’re just too ignorant and set in your ways. But I smile to myself because you created this. You’ve spent years hating what you created yourself. Festering your mind on something untrue, not real, not there, not in existence anywhere.

So, you can’t give me a hug, you can’t feel my love. You can’t see through my eyes. You can’t appreciate my smile. You’ll never really know me because I really know you and your hate for something you see that wasn’t, couldn’t be and isn’t me.
