Not Good Enough?

Well what do they know...
no more work from me...

...you may wish...

a higher ground I'll go...

my spirit packed up
my heart follows me...

...how many times can a
spirit be pushed back...

...many many more times
this passion keeps coming
back...

I raise my own flag...
march to the beat of
mine own drum...

after all is said and done...
that is how I arrived...
just me just one...

I'll keep pouring my passion
into the void...

you don't know me...
my dreams I build for
no stranger to destroy...

I will not ask you ever again
what pours from my heart
is without pretence...

this poet no longer sits
on the fence...

her justice will arrive...
for these hard knocks
these barriers she will survive...

...thank you...thank you...
to my dear friends...
