Not Gonna Keep You
I love to hard I care too much, man!,
I can't believe how messed up I am.
I'm such a fool, how can I believe you,
I won't hold you back or stop you,
Go, do what you want as long as it makes you happy to.
You made up your mind now leave,
"nothings keeping you here," so do as you please.
I'm not going to be selfish or keep you from your dreams,
You've made it clear you want nothing to do with this town or me.
I should've known it was too good to be true,
But stupid me, I feel like a fool.
I'm not going to keep you from anything at all,
I wish you the best life that you could ever want.
I'm sorry I didn't pass any of your examinations,
I hope you find someone that can live up to your expectations.
I love you dearly with all of my heart and soul,
I don't want to hold you back anymore than I have…
I just thought you should know.
