Not For Me But For You

You argue no one else does, you can't keep peace like a dove, the family sits in silence, but all we need is reliance, that you won't sit and yell, while we all wish you well, but what do we do for it? just keep throwing the ball into another mitt? I write of love and life, while thinking of happy silent mice, I sit and stare at walls, thinking through it all, I sit and try to ignore, but it seems like trying to end the war, I try not to cry, but I have to lie, to keep from crying in front of you, and not regretting what I do, what I've done is in my past, so why can't we make moments last? as I sit and write, I'll wish with all my might, that my dreams will come true, not for me but for you.
