Not Enough
Waking up in the daybreak
of another distress.
Standing with two winds
on your side
a little early, a little late.
Maybe time is a jail
and you own the key
of your cave.
You stay inside
until the end of the hurricane,
until nature accepts you,
until you accept her,
until you love
each other again.
Around you, desert roads
of a disaster
that you created.
You were it's God and gave it
shape and color and style.
The only thing that you didn't give
is voice,
to call you in the middle of the night.
You, only you,
can tame your fears
with a promise
becoming illusion,
sharing you
between two worlds.
Remember this share.
You have to walk along.
With a nostalgic pain in the eyes,
near you stand
the oblivion and the dream.
You will walk
but your steps are carrying the winter.
They are floating
in a desert of guilt.
They are steps of human.
Two drops of tears are not enough
for these plains.
Two hands are not enough
to raise the sadness of the world.
Not enough.
