Not Ashamed of Jesus
I am not ashamed of Jesus
Nor ashamed to call Him trustworthy Friend
He has proven His Word is Truth
And in it I can depend
He has shown me Love and Mercy
Protection and His saving grace
Provided the courage I needed
For life's battles I had to face
His love some say is unconditional
But I say conditions sometime apply
You may never know Jesus
Unless He's the Apple of your eye
You may journey with Jesus
Yet never truly know Him it is true
The walk mightn't get you life eternal
But the " Knowing " and " Obeying " Him will
His Ways ,Thoughts, His Desires are not yours nor mine
We must follow Him by faith as we earthlings can be blind
Many He calls but few He chooses
And if the latter you are among
Consider yourself " Special "
For you are a reflection of God's Holy Son
