Not Alone

Many broken souls are going to church today. The bell’s are ringing and mass is ready to begin. An old man sits in the back with his head facing down. Hands are held tightly together in front praying to see he lovely wife once again. In the front a lady is all dressed up in her latest clothes. Fashion is her life and shiny new jewels. Deep down inside she cries for something real. Rather than living the life of a plastic Barbie doll. A teenager is confused on what is right making all the wrong choices in life. Still two steps behind the rest a young girl tries her best not to fall. Crying children are in the room with their loving mothers. Even when they cry you can see the cuteness in their eyes. Off to the side a little boy is all by him self with no family or friends. He is reaching for God to get through the next day. A fallen solider dies in Iraq today his father is here praying for his safe return. When we stumble to the ground and hit rock bottom. Falling into in endless drop we find ourselves at worlds end. Crying out to the Lord we pray to him in the darkest moments in our life. He hears every tear that falls all over the earth. Forever he is there even when we feel like we’re all alone. We crawl off the floor and walk through the door of light. Standing next to us is the Lord for he is the way, the truth, and the life.
