Not alone

I can see it through your eyes. I can see into your storm. I can look at the pain inside. I can feel the hole it’s formed. I can help with words, my strength, my love, my time for you to own. I can see it through your eyes. I now know what you bear inside, it’s time to let it go. The scars have healed but the pain still lives and breathes, I know. I will catch you when you fall, I am here my love. Let the pain release, let the sorrow go. You’re no longer on your own. I can see it through you’re eyes, all those lonely tears you’ve cried - not for you no more. Hold on to me my love. I won’t let you go. I want you to know that I know. I want you to know you’re not alone.

What a truly heartfelt, emotional poem that really touched me. So well written. I love the immense, loving support and how it’s being expressed throughout the poem. The empathy. ‘My time for you to own’ ‘ I want you to know you’re not alone’. A wonderful, poignant write. Thank you for sharing.
