Not All Who Wander Are Lost

Not all who wander are lost Even though that's how it seems They may just be on a journey To fulfil their lifelong dreams They've worked most of their lives But now their time is their own They no longer have family ties So they are free to roam They can travel the world And see unseen sights Maybe have a trip to Iceland To see the wondrous Northern Lights They might like a trip to Venice To see the beautiful Bridge of Sighs Or a trip to Ancient Egypt To see where Tutankhaman lies The children have flown the nest And mum and dad's time is now It is their time to live life to the full For as long as their remaining years will allow

A lovely rhyme, Jenny! I go walkabouts all the time, and I'm not even part Aboriginal! I enjoyed this piece very much
