Not All Love Is Lost

She wanted him. She needed him. If just for a split second she could show him exactly how much, she would make it possible. For he is her Earth, her sun, her moon..her everything.

What do you do when someone doesn't have mutual feelings? Do you ignore your own feelings? Do you begin to question how deep their affect even goes?

They also say love doesn't hurt. If anything, it's something completely opposite.. love sets you free.
She inhaled the crisp air as she now understood.
If love wasn't supposed to hurt, surely they wouldn't call it falling.

To have loved is anyone's greatest treasure, but to be loved in return is an even greater privilege.

There must be a tiny spark there to work into a flame laken. Keep looking until you see that spark. I feel the longing in your well written poem. Congratulations on your win! 7 ; )

Love hurts. Especially when it's not being returned. So we take a breather and truly figure things out. Great poem Laken :)
