Not a Race

I like to write songs, I’ve got the beat In my soul and in my feet. I’ve got the beat, I’ve got the beat, I’ve got the beat. Music puts me in a trance And makes me want to do a dance. I want to dance. I want to dance. I want to do a dance. I’m not trying to hide it. I just want to “sing-song” it. To “sing-song” it, To "sing-song" it. I just want to “sing-song” it. I was reading the other day that out of all activities that stimulated the brain, dance came out the highest, the choreographed ones even more so. What a wonderful poem Carole, it makes me want to get up and dance right now, but i guess I'll do that later, sitting in front of the computer and reading your poem instead of working .
