Not a Little Girl

I want to bust out I want to be free To be able to live To the best of my ability Let me be the young woman You say I am When I try to show you, You just shoot down my chance You won't let me act older, You won't let me be young I have so much to say, But for now I'll hold my tongue. I'll just speak with my actions-- Not with my words Soon you will see That I'm not a little girl.
