Not a Kid Anymore
All the time that I miss you
All the deep breaths that I blow
All the tears that flowed through
All the fake smiles that I have to show
I always say
It's okay
Even though it's not
Oh how I miss you
When you were young
Singing to every cheesy lullabies
Worrying the tingling heat of the sun
And all those little nonsense whines
You stare at the stars for hours
And baffled where the moon goes
And shouts at it as it follows
Even if you hide from the shadows
You're now laughing
As you remember those days
When you were a child
Not worrying anything
Big bruises and mild
Wish you could come back
But it will no longer happen
And you know that
