Nostalgia

I bought a card for Christmas
To post it to a friend:
A school day friendship
Together we had spent.
Playing on the field
Eating in some cafe
Walking home from school
Even in the heat of May.
Reminiscing those days
As I fill the card,
Signing my name beneath
With love and regard.

I posted the card
To the address I knew,
It came back to me
With an address review.
My friend, he shifted
To an old age home,
From there I learned
He lost his sight and comb.
Wish I could meet him
Just one more time,
So, we could recollect
Days of our prime.
