Nosey Not Me But
Well you know me
I’ve never been one to nosey
But I just happen to be stood by the window
Behind the net curtains
With a pair of binoculars in my hand
I heard a lot of noise from number 42
Across the road
They are unloading a furniture van
.
It looks like John and Ethel
Did a moonlight flit
But they were getting on a bit
.
Oh the furniture that’s going in
Is so tacky
I wouldn’t even put it
In my wheelie bin
Hmmm orange curtains and plastic flowers
A plastic pig no wheels on bricks
And look at the state of the carpet
Could do with some Shake and vac
And cleaned up a bit
.
There’s twenty kids stood outside
And now they have gone in
They all look the same
Lanky and thin
.
Their playing loud music
You could hear it in Kimberworth park
From South Anston
It’s only half past three
And not even dark
.
Hold on!
What’s this?
Somebody has climbed a tree
And is watching me
Through a pair of binoculars
Well!, The nosey thing!!!
