Northern Skies

Northern skies
Crystal blue
Fluffy clouds
Cold air from Canada
Clouds darken
Snow flies
Burying the Earth
Hiding life
Skies clear
The sun returns
Melting snow
Fills rivers
Overflowing banks
Fresh water flows
Touching the ocean
Evaporating in southern winds
Clouds to snow
Snow to water
Water to clouds
The circle starts again
