North Wind

The north wind got mad and hurled his wrath He threw the snow across the land But it did not make him calm He took a deep breath and blew He blew so hard that the snow Whirled around making it howl It howled far into the night He froze all within his sight With each breath he began to calm Soon he was not making a sound The north wind regained his composure. But left his anger lying on the snowy ground.

I like that you identified the North Wind as a him...very interesting. Usually one hears ...no fury like a woman's wrath! Good job! Not that I'm sexist or anything. lol It's just nice to give equal credit for the wrath! I enjoyed this poem. Smiles.
