Norma Jean

in the beginning
wholesome and fresh
with a vibrant glow
a trailer park name
a path to fame

finally an opening
in the jungle door
mighty Niagra about to flow
too late now to say no

golden dreams
every mans fantasy
the moth and the flame

too long at the party
past time for bed
sugar plums dance in her head

good night Norma Jean
