We just had a monstrous three day Nor'Easter pummel the coast of New England.  Beach erosion, power outages, housed swallowed by the raging waves.  Awesome and terrifying.

HA. I had to look up detritus to make sure it meant what I thought! Did you see the picture of the thousands of sea creatures that washed up? It was so sad. Actually I think they said hundreds and hundreds of thousands, mostly starfish. That must have been so weird to see all the destruction from the storm, John.
