Notes About The Poem

Over the years I've been told that I looked like dozens of people. Bruce Springsteen, Billy Martin (NY Yankees ex-manager), Brad Paisley (Country singer), Mario (lol) and Horshack (Welcome Back Kotter- (lol). Just to mention a few.

No-No, No-No

People say I kind of look like Jim 
He is heavy and I am kind of slim 
So, no-no, no-no...
No-no, no-no
I don't look like him
 
People say I kind of look like Matt  
I've put on weight but I'm not that fat 
So, no-no, no-no
No-no, no-no
I don't look like that
 
People say I kind of look like Keith  
Maybe a little, but he's got no teeth 
People say I kind of look like Lou 
I beg to differ; I kind of think he looks like you

People say I kind of look like Clay 
If his eyes were brown, then he just may
So, no-no, no-no
No-no, no-no
I don't look that way
 
People say I kind of look like Jack  
Maybe years ago, but that was a while back
People say I kind of look like Lance 
Not a chance, best take another glance

People say I kind of look like Joy 
Yeah, I might if she was a boy 
So, no-no, no-no 
No-no, no-no...
I don't look that coy 

People say I kind of look like (Paisley)- Brad 
If I had his money, boy I sure be glad 
So, no-no, no-no 
No-no, no-no 
But I wish I had

People say my son kind of looks like he 
I don't see it, I kind of disagree

He kind of looks like, looks like me
