Nonexistent Seasoning

starry winter night
missing her summer conversation
softly wishing in vain
moving on is like jumping off the high dive in a pool of poison ivy

starry spring evening
missing her winter conversation
a sweet, gentle breeze whispers her name teasingly
moving on is like jumping off the high dive in a pool of heavily concentrated acid

starry summer night
missing her spring conversation
dehydration sneaking up on me as i see mirrored spots of her beautiful image
moving on is like jumping off the high dive in a pool of chocolate coated sewage

starry autumn evening
missing every season of her conversation
another year older and my heart even more darkly clouded and cold
moving on is like jumping off the high dive in many layers of absolutely nothing
