Non-Existence

I'm tired of these feelings,
I have cried so hard.
My tears are like acid
burning my checks as it slowly rolls down my cracked face.
Your words have a hatred meaning to them,
words to make me feel worthless.
Your words make me feel invisible to others.
Your hurtful words and my feelings just makes me want to end it all.
If I was to end it all today,
no more tears to cry,
no more pain,
no more hurtful words to hurt my soul.
You wouldn't know I was missing,
neither would anyone else.
I'm tired of feeling this way,
the way of being non-existence.

A poignant poem. Terrible how people we trust can be cruel. It is so important to maintain hope because the "right" people are right around the corner...

One never knows when reading poetry how much is fictional or true. If there was a personal touch behind these words, I sincerely hope you appreciate, as Andrew points out below that you have gifts to share and trust that feelings will soon become more positive. Best wishes Wendy

It's a terrible feeling! I have been there, and it can only get better! Many people would have missed your wonderful poem, if you hadn't been there to write it!
