I'm lost
a deer at night
in front of headlights
when conversation stopped
you would pause and that was all.
you deserve a round of applause
made me forget where I was!
oh yeah, i couldn't budge
i needed you like a drug.
you did too sometimes
because you wanted to get high
can I curl your toes tonight
and breath more tonight?
i'm recovering
with you still above me
taking up my thoughts,
my time,
you are seductively drugging me.
-don't you leave me
-please
-don't you leave me!
-I didn't mean a word I just said
-please girl,
-believe me.
