Noise On Noise Cancels the Noise Out
I am trying to sleep
Noise outside seeps within
Despite fingers plugging all the holes
Wanton intruders banging on my being's door
Embedding bedlam blasts beneath the skin bellowing bleats and bangs
Squirming like bed bugs screaming and squiggling for blood
Fracas and racket, make caterwauling jangles that rattle within
It's 'Bye Bye' to lullaby, 'Hello' to 'Hell Raising Commotion, Pandemonium'
Noise a personal affront, up front and confronting
Must be quelled and dispelled
I'm up now, angry and fired up,
So look out!
Noisy shout, yell and scream, rage and anger, bang and uproar, screams fit to wake the dead
Shut Up, Now! Stop the Noise!
The only way to stop noise is with noise
For noise blots out calm reason which fails
Only noise on noise cancels the noise out.
