Nocturnal Cherry Blossoms...

the ripple on the sparrow pond
flickers the sliver moon’s reflecting light
as the frogs croak to one another
in the warm air of the spring night
and on the newly planted field
a light blue fog hangs near the ground
and by morning, the cherry trees will blossom
as that time of year has come back around

Love the anticipation of the trees in bloom. You set the stage very well with the images of the mon on the pond, the sounds of the frogs and the magical "blue fog." Very nice, Luke! Love, Carolyn
