Nobody Knows
Everyday I wake and look forward
to logging in to our Poetry Soup,
because, I can't believe I found you
hidden among this eclectic group.
Actually, it was you, who
somehow stumbled upon me,
I have never met such a spirit
who was so alive and so free.
We talk nearly every single day
from early morning and late into the night,
your calming thoughts put me at ease
and make everything alright,
......and still nobody knows.
When we first met in the Fall
in late October of last year,
it was just after you had joined
but, I was already here.
My shy persona has changed
so much has happened since then,
only your eyes have seen me blossom
I'm more carefree than I've ever been.
We talk nearly every single day
from early morning and late into the night,
your calming thoughts put me at ease
and make everything alright,
......and still nobody knows.
I know we will always have
endless poetry to share,
you know how to take the words
to places only few would dare.
I hope to never lose you
you're the best friend that I've got,
only you can know my secret
that I think you're really hot.
