Nobody Knows
nobody knows me,
not him and not her,
but then there's you
i want you to know me,
not for who everyone thinks i
am,
but for who i know i am
i usually don't let people in,
or give them the chance to hurt
me,
but you are worth the risk
i am like you,
you are like me,
but it is not the same
we are dangerous together,
i refuse to be hurt again,
but I may hurt more without
you
i resist your words and your
gaze,
not allowing myself to fall,
but i can't hold on any longer
it is your choice,
you can betray me and leave,
but if i trust you, don't lose it
i will learn to like,
i will learn to love,
but it might take a while
i could choose to like you,
And eventually love you,
But make sure i'm your only
one
nobody knows me,
not him and not her,
but then there's you
