Nobody Is Perfect

in a world full of competition
Everyone is scared to be beaten
But who are we trying to be better than
Shouldn't we all just try and be the best we can 

For those of you trying to be better than the next
Are you ready to hear something quite complex
As a rule of life this is what i say
I only try to be better than who i was yesterday 

I'm not fantasizing reality 
I'm just trying to think clearly 
Not covering up problems with wild romance 
But everyday is a second chance 

So instead of competing 
Concentrate on the life you are living 
Lower some levels for what you expect
Remind yourself that nobody is perfect
