Noah and the Ark
Noah And the Ark
Noah was to build an ark.
This was God’s plan.
Soon, God would destroy
every woman and man.
God gave Noah the instructions
on how to build it.
And told him two of each
animal would fill it!
Through much labor, sweat and tears…
His family built the ark in one hundred
and twenty years.
When it was finished, the door was open.
The animals came, as God’s words were spoken!
Noah and his family were to take care of them.
They had gathered food that
they shared with them.
Then the rains came for 40 days and 40 nights.
The whole earth was covered
from the rain’s might!
The ark came to rest on the top of a mountain…
The rains stopped, like a “dry fountain.”
God put a rainbow in the sky as a promise.
Nevermore would he send rain to destroy us!
May this ark by a reminder to all of us…
Through life’s storms, God will take care of us!
God blesses those who earnestly seek him!
Won’t you be like Noah and receive him?
