No Yacht For Me

Of all the things I haven’t got The one I wouldn’t want’s a yacht, For though most folks would be impressed, I’d always have to look my best. The details would just overwhelm – The crew, the fuel, who’s at the helm; The food, décor and where to sail, All planned on a most lavish scale. Decisions made to scratch each itch, A consequence of being rich. I do love water close at hand, But from my viewpoint on the land.

Some people are just the opposite, they love boats, just not the water. :/ OO

Strange, I've never wanted a yacht either -- or a pet alligator. ~ Wolf, the Weirdo

All property attract barnacles and it costs to fend them off! Visit a yacht harbour and count your savings! Enjoyed, Ilene! Aloha!

I'm with you, Ilene. I do love a cruise every few years, but a yacht...well, no. It just seems so ostentatious to me. Okay, maybe I'm envious...not! I really wouldn't want one. My son has a cabin cruiser for awhile but sold it. They are too darned expensive to maintain, slip, and enjoy!
