No Toys In the Bedroom
We still go to sleep in the
same bed
But not necessarily with each
other
And the only time we touch at
night
Is when we're fighting for the
covers
Honey leave the iPad in the
kitchen
The lap top and iPhone too
I know we've been married for
a bunch of years
But I only want to sleep with
you
I appreciate how busy you are
And that at night you're really
tired
And you say you cant just fall
asleep
Because you still feel really
wired
But I miss how we were when
we first met
Two bodies entwined in a
single breath
Holding each other even when
we slept
Together as one with no
regrets
