NO TO BULLYING

Giants laugh, the small recoil
borders trampled, voices thin
resources drained, cries ignored
maps are drawn to favor sin

Behind treaties, hidden theft
behind sanctions, fear and pain
the strong exploit, the weak endure
losses counted in quiet strain

No land should bend to another
no people crushed for gain
the world grows colder with each blow
until justice breaks the chain

Speak, stand tall, defend the small
let truth and courage mark the fight
let fairness rise above the strong
and teach the mighty wrong from right.

Oppression & exploitation beautifully & simply expressed, Hakim. It’s more than bullying- it is subtle, whereas bullying is overt. Your rhyme scheme is very effective for simplicity of words. Beautiful light to Sierra Leone from South Africa. I always thought it has a deep magical ring to it. Have a blessed week, Ghairo.
