No Title

The demon has awoken,
he comes to feast on your soul,
sucking the marrow from your bones
and licking the inside of your cranium.
Thriving on sorrow,
and adding uncontrollable rage.

I sit here and welcome him
into the deepest part of my brain,
for I am a poet
who was created from pain and sadness,
a mere shell of a man,
   emotionless,
                and terrifyingly empty.

Feasting on other's feelings
is a part of my everyday life.
And as the unsuspecting demon
comes forth,
I engulf him
    and show him pain
never conceived could exist.
