No tempo de viver;
Risque o firmamento cinzento;
Suporte triste momento;
Supere quase sempre;
Seja vencido e supere!
Mate a sede das flores;
Sinta dores e tenha dores;
Se você pode e sabe que pode;
Afirme: Tirem-me as os membros
Tirem os braços;
Mas deixem-me o pensamento!
Com meus pensamentos
Por eles; com ele sonharei,
Guiarei meus passos;
Para ir sempre adiante;
Deixar de morrer no tempo de viver.
