No Shadow
Iike I dimly recall now
gratefully doing long ago,
once again I shall gladly bask
in the faint light, heaving halo
of the sunken summer sun
as thin shimmering shafts
cut my lengthening shadow,
but there was a time I guess
I was happily shadowless !
