No Reservation
You didn't make a reservation
I can't believe that's true.
We'll have no bed to sleep in.
Whatever will we do?
My husband had forgotten again.
He started t o look around,
When he saw a sign that promised
A vacancy could be found.
"I think it's a flophouse", he muttered.
I dropped into the leather chair.
There was no way I would sleep in that bed,
And my chair I wouldn't share.
