No Regrets

Give me this day remembrance sweet of thee
and I'll endure the bitter tastes of life.
Give me thy hand and I'll sing of thee
till time has ended life's long stay with strife.

Ah my love, be now ever close to me
and no regrets curse I then fading light.
When shades of night draw close I'll not flee
for thy good face will be in eyes last sight.

To be thus happy these our golden days,
with thee to hold alone in my embrace.
You're better gain to me than Sol's warm rays,
or other treasures seen in palace place.

Together we'll drink life's cup deep of cheer
Fortuna mayest pour us amber clear.
