No Regrets
No regrets they all say,
but what does this mean,
to live a full life,
and follow ones dream.
Mistakes are made along every path,
to claim your immune helps me remember to laugh.
Not at expense or intended offense,
but a gift to myself called personal choice.
I am what I am,
and my beliefs are unique,
my outlook is growing,
sorry yours is so bleak.
I will die in due time,
whatever I do,
with a refusal to follow an imaginary set of rules.
I do not wish to pass by the attractions presented,
what if’s never brought positive attention.
Like a cat I am curious,
and aware of no spare lives,
with the one that I have,
I wish to venture and strive.
