No Rainfall

Do you close your eyes
To the sound of rain
Can you feel the clouds
Fingers stretched like a plane

Patter of raindrops
Soaking through the eaves
Natures nursery song
Singing from the leaves

Childhood memories
Are a quiet little gift
When walking through a desert
See the rainbow in the mist
