No Questions

ill never question you Lord
why my life was tough
or why I met a guy who became 
cruel and acted rough
ill never ask why my grand child cant talk
hes 18 month old  and only just begun to walk
some things is life happen that we wont  understand
but I continue to  place my life and trust in your loving hands
i will never doubt you and ill never ask you why
for i know in life storms
you carry us and you help us to fly
you lift us up high
our strength our comforter when life makes us cry
ill never ask why my mother left home
or why i used to get left all alone
people have choice they  choose the road they wish to go
but i trust you  with everything even about some situations ill never know
the enemy tries to put our faith to the test
but Loving and trusting and putting our life in your hands
is always the place that's best.
some people try to make us wonder
some people try to make us doubt
but my life with you i'd never be with out,
 keep trusting God never asking  why
just keep walking and being lifted up high.

AWESOME Diane I was in a very bad way too, drugs and alcohol had a extremely strong hold on me and nothing worked, I mean nothing worked including the twelve steps. So I finally turned to The Lord and all of it stopped, while in Rehab. I started to hear these poems in my head Then I was told to write them down now I am getting a strong feeling to learn about poetry and with all the different forms of poetry, this seems like it's going to be quite a task. Advice is welcome

Hi Diane: A beautiful heartfelt poem on your faith in God as in your other poem about your Mom. You seem to feel a comfort in writing poems about your family. Thanks for sharing that with us. Thank you also on your comment on my fathers day.

thank you Ralph, I like sharing things about my life as sometimes it helps others in similar situations, or bring comfort to thoose that feel life is cruel, I like to try to bring Gods Love through poetry to show that his light always shines, even in the most difficult situations thanks for your kind comments and support

thank you carolyn you are one very special lady too, a friend whos seen me through soup right from the very start i came, being supportive, bringing strength and so much more. soup is a place we know we can come and share and not be critisized, and a lovely family we have right here,
