No Poem

That compares with what you mean to me
Trust me dearest, that is  crystal clear to see
No poem to write, that explains my sight
When I see your beauty shining bright
You take away my breath 

Words fail me when I go to speak
In my heart your unending love I seek
Love radiates from you and I, sparks igniting
Heaven I let you down, stop the fighting
Sparks flew

Remember that, the first night of passion?
Electricity arcing through the air 
For ration and reason was let go in sight
Of you, it always is this way, no poem
Will ever describe my love for you 
May that it always remains true

Kindred spirit, we are one, my soul-mate
I know we'll always be joined, twisted in fate
Serving this purpose is God's plan for us
Surely you still feel it too, I know that you must

Maybe words are not what I'm needing
Even in silence, I feel your heart beating.

Now I lay the pen to rest, I love you and goodnight
Sleep peacefully, feel secure, all is right.
