No Place To Run

Darkness shines upon still waters.
An eerie glow, lights up the path.
Misty fog rolls in your way.
 Stumble not upon rocks astray.

 Surely you are not afraid?
No ghosts arise from shallow graves.
Shadows dwell in all the hollows,
A wolf song sings in quiet bellows.

Fear not the darkness closing in,
 Suffocation is not eminent,
 breathe in those chilling winds.
 Seek not that forbidden moat.

 Wander through that forest growth.
take the trail that will lead you out.
Mire not in sands so thick to tread.
 Clear paths lie just ahead.
